Yeah, video games wont help you physically but you'll know what terms mean..like say goofy and regular footing. For example, when i was younger, i didnt know what a "wide receiver" was in football, but after playing madden, i knew what everything means!

I don't know how advanced the arcades are in your area, but here where I live we have a lot of virtual reality type stuff in the arcade and one of them happens to be a snowboarding one. It is really fun I am not sure how much it would help you since there is not too much chance of you falling in the game but hey it is worth the try!

I'd have to agree. Playing Amped has taught me the names of most tricks but hasn't helped me land any

Of course it will help. not much and not physically but mentally. it def helps if you know the moves and rules, kind of like watching sports on tv.
