Question...
My boyfriend says playing snowboarding video games will help me get better at the sport itself. Is that true, or is he making fun of me? (And if it is true, can anyone here recommend a good one?)
I really don't believe that's true, but I've never tried it. I'm almost positive that it wouldn't help me out any.
 I'll tell him you said so. It didn't sound like it would work, but it's hard to tell when he's being serious and when he's teasing.
Well, it might raise your interest in the sport, but that's about it.
I think there *are* games that will hook you up with a "real" snowboard that you can stand on to play the games with... but other than that, I'd think it wouldn't be the same. Sorry.
I'm not as interested in raising my interest in the sport as I am at not falling flat on my face. :-D
That just takes time, and, unfortunately, falling flat on your face a few more times. Sorry!
if you could just remove the "pain" element... *sighs* life would be so much easier...
*groans* |
Hahahahaha :D . Not only that, but it would be nice in real life, during basketball or snowboarding, where you can just press the "X" button to shoot, and R1 and R2 to do spin tricks. Know what i mean? :P
It would have been simpler, JT :)
Going back to the question of SweetCharity. I am not sure but maybe video playing of snowboarding will also help, if the video entails one to do some sort of movement and tricks by pressing some buttons, I think it will work in a way. It also would greatly depend on the video game. |
