Oh fore sure i'm far from neutral on the statements you got me there.... but honestly I'm biased on both... hell as a matter of fact I don't like the way that anybody selling electronics has degraded their PR and business ethics... with apple...nvidea.. hell even the tv guys. I feel you on the ps3 thing... weren't they talking about that in like what... 00'? Then when not if the shit breaks you call up the so called customer service line... get put on hold for an hour after pushing 74 buttons to get through the automated voice that makes you want to throw the phone through the wall... just to get ahold of somebody that neither one of you can understand what the other one is saying ....

Just thought i'd mention.. I got my xbox back in today... Shipped it off the 24th.... They fixed my disc drive for free too.. It might be a whole nother refurbished one.. not sure yet....

If you get the three red lights again. Try this: go to youtube.com and search for the 360 Towel Trick. It works... I did it with one of my boxes.

go to your local best buy and purchase a 360 with the warranty. The warranty means you can return it to them without question and they will give you a brand new one right away. switch the boxes and return the system. You are out 30 bucks with a brand new system that has a serial new serial number with a 3 year warranty

LUCKY! I didnt get the three rings of death on mine My lense stoped working. So I emailed/called Microsoft and they gave me some bull story about me not buying the apropiate coverage for it. So now I have a nice $400 doorstop <----Microsoft

What about the data on the 360? Do they transfer it over, or do you lose all of your achievements, saves, downloaded content, etc?

The hard drive on the 360 is de-tatchable. I'm pretty sure they'll send your hard drive back on a new model. Check first though by calling/emailing them or just take off the hard drive before you send it.

my ps2 is about 8years old and needs to warm up for about 45mins before it can read a disc,
i think there are about 2 games i can play to warm it up...the rest wont read.

kind of a laugh kind of a pain in the ass, my first ps2 had 2 get replaced cause of some fault with it...but that was free so i aint complaining
