so i picked up a wii last night for me and the wifey. I would have gone 360 but went with the wii cause its something my wife and i can play together.

so right now i have guitar hero 3, wii sports and wii play. I'm prolly going to get the new mario kart when that comes out as i loved the original for snes. (man i'm old. that was 15 years ago)

so who else has one? what else is good? anyone play medal of honor heroes 2 yet? it looks good but i want to know before i get it.

Wii is pretty good. I still want to get 360 or ps3 so i can play madden, but the wii is def worth it. I highly recommend super mario galaxy. Super smash bros. if you were a fan of the original. And if you want something for you and your girl to play get gamecrazy, its like an assortment of bar games: shuffleboard, hoopshots, darts, beer pong, trivia. It's real addicting

yeah, our wii collects dust due to the 360 as well.

Other folks i know like the Rayman Raving Rabbits games. Don't know if thats a family (kiddos) thing or if its just a good game. They are all big gamers so i would guess its solid.

if it weren't for the spousal guilt provoked by game hating wives, nintendo wouldn't sell unit 1 of the Wii

and for good reason. a good gimmick, but a shite consol (IMO)

fortunately for me, my missus is a cyco nutter and plays all those shoot em up gorefests; GTA, manhunt, suffering, psi-ops etc etc

gonna get the PS3 this summer i fink, now the price over here has been reduced to just being insanely expensive.

i think the continent, whilst pricey by north american standards, isn;t as bad as skanksville engerland!

the best deals you can sort out over here, are bundles, with a few select (ie shit) games, and few periferals like controllers and memory...

currently, the brucey bargain is 40Gb for £290

Cheap PS3 deals from £285, new PS3 console bundles From £289

which is what.... just shy of 600 dollars US?

yeah i hate the bundle "deal" they try to get you with. they are doing that with the wii. since they are still hard to find a lot of places online that have them make you buy the second controller and 5 games for like $600.

eff that nonsense.
