So since SWS apparently stinks, or at least isn't good enough for me to waste $60 on, who's getting Left 4 Dead? It's supposedly COD4 level good as a multiplayer game, and I can't resist any game about zombies that's even halfway good. My Xbox tag is PunctualGodot if anyone wants to headshot zombies with me.

Ok, granted I only played the demo, but I thought it was just ok.
I love zombies. I have some weird obsession, it worries my wife. I prefer less action and more suspense. I was never scared of the zombies, they were just fodder. I never felt in danger or anything. I think this is more of an action-oriented game for people who have friends over. I can see how that would be cool. It's probably because I'm so picky about my zombie stuff, but I don't think I'll buy it. Weird though, because I don't think I've disliked anything Valve has ever made. Portal was brilliant. |

The zombies definitely aren't Romero-canonical, but I'm alright with that. (Outside of videogames running zombies /= zombies) I think they actually do a better job of portraying a zombie horde, but each individual zombie is easy pickin's, its only as a horde that they're scary.
Been playing for a week now, this game rules. |
