Default Rails

How to you prepare a rail or your board for doing a handrail. There is a wooden handrail near my house I wana try but i dont know how to prep it. Any ideas?

you can detune with a diamond file that you can pick up any hardware store. Just use it to round of the sharpened edge. Make sure you Tune(sharpen) the edge between your bindings for sure before you hit the mountain. The nosw and tail edges arent such a big deal.

Also try to put some wax on that thing, or go in advance and ice it up a little. But if you do the latter make sure not to do it to the point where you'll have no control. But do one or the other, because if you don't that thing is sure to be sticky...

Bump to Stark...dont do both. I use sharp edges to jib on and I wax my board and I have never had a problem. However you said that the rail is wood...that could be a problem with sharp edges.

no prob just wouldnt want someone to biff it on a wood rail...prolly no the smartest spot but ill give props to a freestyle/jib rider any day!
