Default Dub Villanous 160 Questions

I can't find anything out about the company, other than they make outerwear, does anyone know of them or read any reviews on the board? I read saome where that the boards are actually made by Flow (I don't know for sure)
I'm looking at the 160cm (I'm 6'4" and 150lbs) and this will be my first freestyle board. Live in New Hampshire, so icy mountains and fluffy back woods riding. I'm on a $400 budget for the total build so if there is another board you'd recommend let me know.

Thanks in advance folks.

From what I gather, they are a "jack of all trades" company who make a market a lot of different things from automotive accessories to skateboards.

Here is their main web site:

DUB Brand

I am a big fan of Rome and Atomic boards. The Romes are a bit more than Atomic. In Atomic`s budget lineup the Discharger would be a good option that is in your budget and fits your riding preference. Toss on a set of last years $100 Rome Arsenal bindings and you are set.

Oh, I see you sort of put together a setup there...well, before you buy some things to consider:

Boots....I highy recomend that you do not buy online...go to a shop and try boots on. Proper fit is so important! Another option for cheap yet vry decent performing bindings are the Ride LX or Ex. The entire line of Ride bindings are decent and those LX and EX can be had for about $79.00

Also, make sure you get the right board length. Base this on weight not height. Average guy 170 to 190 is looking at something in the 157 through 161 range.

I spec a 158-160 based on weight.

Boots: I'm thinking I'll hit the EMS by me they have 2007 K2 Boa's for $50 in size 11.

Thanks, I think I'm leaning towards the 158 Discharger.

Any opinions on Atomic Straight Shot Bindings
