I have been renting since the first time and now I think its time for me to get my own gear if I want to hit the bunny slope more often . Tips and suggestions will help. By the way, I am really small so while I was browsing site for gear I realized that this is going to be kind of hard for me

Weight: 125 (Has been constant)
Waist size: 26-28
Shoe/boot size: 6 1/2 - 7
Style: I like to freeride so that I can get used to the sport before I kill myself trying to learn things I dont know how to do

Don`t sweat it, its not as hard as you think. For a decent free ride board, you are looking at something in the 149 CM area and an all mountain board. Small/medium Bindings. Most board companies make boards in that range. The Atomic Radon for example comes in a 149 and it is a sick all mountain board. A bit on the advanced side, but dooable. I would consider the Cold Smoke as an intermediate. Rome also makes many terrific boards to fit you.
