i didnt wear wrist guards when i first started, and nowadays both my wrists are permanently screwed up. they crack in and out and i have trouble doing a lot of things (using a mouse, typing, operating a cellphone with one hand, working out, pushups, etc)
nowadays, i can ride better, so i know not to fall forward and catch my fall with my hands, but its already too late, and the damage has been done. i wish id had wrist guards when i was younger
