I'd really like to know just how likely it is to snap your snowboard by messing around on the nose or tail. Today on the winter X-Games Shaun White snapped his board by flexing it around a little. Should I refrain from putting pressure on the nose and tail to exhibit certain tricks?

yea i saw that, that was amazing that he still made that run. im pretty sure it would take a lot to snap it like that. but you have to remember that wasnt his first time on that board either. that board has probably seen some pretty brutal tricks too.

haha actually he practiced on that board all day. the board is completely broken in with burtons oh so prized infinite ride. yeah thats only good for the kid who can only go down the mountain because almost everyone knows once a board gets broken in and you go hard on it its over its gonna break. every board will. thats why its better not to get a board prebroken in and just go new. ive seen it happen 4 times already this year with close friends. and in the store with a burton blunt and a rome, a burton dominant, and an option. its crazy it happens to every board the only preventation is 1 new board every season if you are one hell of a hardcore park rider. stay away from the infinite ride everyone thats all i can say. and as it goes for shaun white? hes a dick anyways i dont care.
