Go with the 2008 missions if you are set on them. I have the 2007 missions and they are fine, but the cap strap on the 07's is very stiff. The 2008 cap strap is much softer and holds your toe better. I had a problem with my toe lifting on the 07's, and just replaced them with Rome Targa's. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I like the conformist strap on them so it will be interesting to see how they perform. They definately feel higher quality than the burtons.

Thanks for the info guys. I missed out on the 2007 missions (ebay) because it went higher than expected. There are several other 07 missions on ebay, but I am definately wondering if I should stick with the 08 or even go a different route. The cap strat is the main draw and I am now learning the toe straps on both Rome and Ride work pretty well as a cap as well.

I'm liking the 390s or the Targas, but there aren't as many deals out their.
