Hey all,
So I tried out my Smith Knowledge OTG's last night, and they fit nice and are super comfy, but about 20 sec after putting them on, my glasses (not the goggles themselves) are fogging up! I couldn't figure out how to fix it, and it was snowing so hard that my glasses were constantly filling up with snow if I didn't wear the goggles, so I had to leave early!

Is there something I could use to keep my glasses from fogging up that actually works?

My wife is having the same problem...I posted something on Prescription Goggles about a week ago - you should try to find that post...

I think the consensus of the responses was that there is no great solution for those who cannot wear contacts... after doing a bunch of research and reading all the replies on this message board we are going to get my wife a pair of the goggles with the prescription inserts.

I think Smith makes a couple of versions and my buddy's dad is an optometrist and is seeing if Oakley makes something similar...

Is that stuff safe for my glasses if they have the anti-reflective coating?
Also does anyone know how good the TurboFan system that Smith has is any good for this purpose? I may just upgrade my Knowledge's to Knowledge Turbo Fan's (plus I wanted a different lens color anyway...)

Go to a scuba diving website such as Leisurepro.com and look for Sea Drops.

This helps stop fogging for us divers. I don't know about the reflective coating damage but the stuff definitely keeps diving masks from fogging up from 3 to 100 feet underwater, which is what I usually dive.

You rub the solution on your lenses, then rinse off with water before you put goggles and glasses on.

For anyone wondering, Smith's TurboFan only works when you're stopped and riding the chair.

Anything beyond that and the natural air movement created by riding negates the fan.

But you knew that already.
