Default Best BTX ride out there

I've been looking at the riders choice, but i think its a little too stiff. I'm a pretty advanced rider but i dont stick to one type of terrain. I go to the West and ride some sick powder, and im from the east where i ride icy conditions and the glades. I often hit up the parkl but i love riding groomers as well...i even enjoy moguls. I need a board where i can take it on all types of terrain and that i can manuver pretty well. I heard riders choice magne-traxction is really strong, and i dont want my mtx to be that strong..i heard you can file it down so im considering that...but does anyone have any good all alround btx snowboards that they know about, i dont care about price and i DONT want the skate banana. THANKS!!!

Comes in better than BTX its NS's own version which destroys it.

haha there is a hype about it because its good technology!! some other gnu btx boards are the street series and the chb. they both have a little softer feel. Another board that you could look into is the Lib Tech TRS its similar to the riders choice so its worth checkin out. All these boards can kill it anywhere on the mountain especially with the BTX. The only difference between them all is there core technologies (more pop, dimensions, materials, etc) also SierraSnowboard.com should have them in within the next couple of weeks!

^ Man could you guys hype your shop any harder?

TRS and Riders Choice are 2 different ends of the spectrum. Once you actually ride them you know that.

yea i own a RC and have demo'd the TRS every year since 2006 and they are different boards, but not opposite ends of the spectrum. The flex is really similar in both, the TRS is just a directional twin and the RC is a true twin. I felt like they rode very similar as a matter of fact. The TRS is really just going to have a more versatile shape. Demo BTX before you buy it because a lot of people like it but i thought it was totally gay. I think the same about MTX.

I was able to demo a few of the mervyn boards last year and I thought the MTX tech was pretty legit but the BTX I was a little sketch on. That might have been cuz i wasnt used to it so i wouldn't be opposed to tryin it again. And im gonna have to agree with Word on this one, the TRS and RC are not on opposite sides of the spectrum. Opposite sides of the spectrum would be like the Snow Mullet and Riders choice haha
