Default Well its that time again... Anyone else faced with my problem???

its times to buy a new board. I'm 16 and i think about 5'8-5'10 range do you think that somewhere between a 154-160cm board is a good size for me in case i grow? Unfortunatly my feet have grown and i now wear size 11 Snowboarding boots. That means that its time to step up to a wide board, according to the guy at my local shop. I was looking at the 2009 Burton Bullet, it looks so sick. Unfortunatly i don;t like the look of wide boards but, its something i will have to grow on to liking. How many of you out there ride wide boards>?>? Would like to hear some opinions. Thanks

11 is considered the size at which people should switch to the wide boards, but depending on the board, and your boots, you might be able to get away without having to stick to wide boards. My feet, thankfully, stopped growing at the stage where they fit snuggly in 10.5, so I've never had to worry about drag, but I have heard good things about the Bullet in the past.

Board length is determined by your weight. An 11 doesn't mean a wide, I've ridden wides and plenty of non wides on an 11. Look at the nose/tail widths and the sidecut radius's.

with size 11 feet you really can get away with a normal board unless its really skinny. look for a board in the 255+ width size and you should easily be fine.

listen to this man. I wear size 12 boots and I'm fine on a ride society. Tell us how much you weigh and someone will be able to tell you accuratly what size board you should be one.

this may be obvious (to some) but your stance angles figure into the equation of whether a wide board is needed, and remember the waist width of a board is measured at the center of the board.
