Ive been boarding for a couple seasons now and i decided this season Id like to learn a couple basic tricks in the park. I was looking for a board that I could use in the park a bit to learn these tricks but I also want a board I can freeride alot with. Someone at my work suggested the Burton Custom 08/09 model, and I figured with that I would get Burton Custom bindings. What do you guys thinks? Any other boards/bindings I should consider?

I work at a sports store so Im getting 50% off on the retail prices, so price isnt rele an issue...I could go up to 700 for the board at retail and 200ish for bindings

the rome agent is a really good mountain board but still sick in the park. look at that board

yea someone at work actually mentioned that board to me too the other day and i checked it out, but i read a review about the 08/09 in one of the threads and it didnt say anything to flattering
