Looking for a new board this winter and have narrowed it down to either a 155 NS Heritage or 154 Arbor Crossbow. I'm 5'7", 150lbs, size 8 boots. I mostly do mountain runs and occasionally dip into the trees. I guess I would be somewhere between a beginner/intermediate (can link turns) and would like a board I can grow into for the next few seasons so cost isn't an issue. The new board will be paired with a Salomon Dialogue/Salomon SPX90 boot and binding combo.

Any advice? Would these boards be a little too stiff for my skill level? Would the fact that the Heritage is 25.2cm wide vs. the Crossbow at 24.4cm width be an issue for my boot size w/r/t turn initiation?

I'd personally say the Never Summer would be an all round better board for you. It's supposed to handle well all over the mountain. Pow, trees, everywhere. You can't go wrong with the crossbow either, but when stood up next to the Heritage, the Heritage takes the cake imo.

I'm not speaking from personal experience on either piece of wood though. And thats just my pick out of the two. Why those two anyway?

You don't want the Heritage at your skill level you'd be better off with the SL R.

i think u might want to consider a shorter board like 153 or 151 if u wanna do trees and stuff

and btw, groomers are not considered as freeride

so i think u might want an EVO or like burtonavenger said get the SL

but whatever your choice is, u don;t want a freeride/big mountain board for groomers
