Default Good wrist guards

Hey guys,

I was looking at getting some wrist guards/ gloves with them built in. Does anyone have some recommendations for some good ones to check out?

Thanks in advance!

Burton makes a decent pair. My hands get really cold, really quick so I had to ditch them. But unless your a circulation-freak like me, they should be fine.

I'm not sure about the Burton gloves with the built in guards but I have the Burton RED wrist guards and I can say the protection is pretty minimal. They do a good job of preventing minor wrist injuries but a major crash could still cause some damage. I assume they are similar to the guards built into the burton gloves. I like them because they are really low profile and fit under my gloves well.

To be fair, no wrist guard is going to protect against a major crash. Even the heavier skateboarding ones wouldn't. They're there to add support and help dampen impact, but they can't pad that much because of the location. In a major crash, even the best wrist guard is just going to result in a broken forearm.

I agree completely, the point I waned to make was that the RED guards and other similar kinds are much more minimal protection then even a skateboard type wrist guard.

Sweet thanks alot guys, I realize that they won't protect 100% from a bad crash but at least they will give me some support but mainly confidence again.

Thanks again for the info!

I Love my LEVEL Half pipe gloves with theBiomex Plus removable wrist guard. They are the warmest driest gloves I've ever had and the built in removable wrist guards are great. They are kinda expensive, but they really are an exceptionally well made glove.
