Default Question on Wide Boards

I just bought a wide board but i am only 5 foot 9 or 10 and 130 pounds, would that be a problem during riding for me?

edit: also, my boot size is size 9.5/10 depending on which boots.

Return it and get a regular width board.

Also, slap the monkey who told you to get a wide board.

you can ride it but I would return it because you don't need it. A wide board is designed to prevent toe and heel drag for riders with big feet usually 11+ like me who has a 13 boot. There is very little difference if your feet are big enough because you have the same leverage on a wide board with big feet as a smaller foot on a normal width board. For you since you don't need it will see decreased performance because the board will be harder to turn due to it's width and torsional stiffness.

In short return it and get a regular width board so you'll be happy on the slopes this winter

^^^^ Wow dude you being brutal to this kid. Do you harbor ill will towards all things 5150 or something.

Don't get me wrong I know it's a junk board, but damn.. talkabout brutaly honest.

Also you have to figure that the idiot who sold him the wide board probably had no fucking clue what he was talking about.

Anyways to the poster: Stop shopping at Sportsmart or whatever generic sporting goods store you bought that from and go to a legit shop. The people at the legit places will be able to help you much better than jim bob that normally sells golf shoes to 80yr olds.
