I am new to snowboarding, but I have been enough times that know it's something that I really want to get into. I have been looking around for cheap-ish snowboards and hadn't really found anything that has caught my eye (do to lack of knowledge and the speed that last years snowboards seem to disappear). However, I recently came across last years Arbor Wasteland for $260 (which, to my understanding, is half of what it used to be) and got a serious case of I-Wants.
I have been looking around for reviews and have only really found reviews on this year's model, so I figured I would ask around. Do you guys think it is a good board?
Also, I have been told so many things about boot/binding size and the width/length of the board that I am getting pretty confused. At first I was told boots are a little bit bigger than what you normally wear, which would make the width about right. Now I am finding out that it normally goes down a bit.
Basically, I'm new to snowboarding and need your help. I am 6ft, around 200 lbs, and I am currently wearing a size 10.5 running shoe that seems to be 1cm, at most, away from my toes (hope that makes sense). I'm looking for an all mountain board.
Thanks in advance, any general advice would be great too
