Capta DBX 157

More a solid first impression than a full on review.
Union Factory

This is Brisse's backcountry gnarly terrain do big jumpy things board. It very much as that Capita feel. Nothing that really stood out but was pretty much fun. If you really just want a board that kinda sits underneath you quietly always doing just what you need and never getting in the way, but also never really surprises you, Capita.

Overall impression: If you happen to ride a 57 and are looking for a one board quiver this is a decent choice. Just a bit of setback to deeper days and FK with a bit of camber between the feet for stability at speed and lock in a carve. Nothing to complain about, nothing to shout about, and it won't ever let you down. Predictable.

Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends

I am very interested in this board primarily for the camber profile and also because of the generally positive reviews out there. I am closer to 175 and currently in possession of a 157 machete GT. Not terrible buzzed on the lack of versatility on the GT so looking for something better all round...
The Salomon time machine caught mt eye as well but I can't seem to find too many who have ridden it (barring Angry snowboarder) and can compare it to something like the DBX.

I also have a signal omni and am looking to get something a little more robust and stable (getting rid of GT of course) so don't want anything too close to the signal.

Any thoughts?
