I'll be taking my CS out for the first time all season tomorrow! So stoked! First powder day of the year and it's damn near February.

Oh, and Capita started putting a sintered base on the CS last year. If you have one from this year or last year, it's sintered.

The Powder Snake definitely sounds like a fun board though. I'd like to try one out.

size?

I'm looking at getting a Charlie Slasher, but I don't know which size. I'm 6'1" and 170# (the weight is only going up). I ride a 158 Never Summer SL-R as my all-resort board. Any thoughts?

Probably the 164, im a little smaller than you, 5'10 160, and the 158 feels perfect. Definitely go bigger for backcountry/sidecountry. Im thinking about getting one to split for next year.

I wouldn't even question the 164, but I like riding trees. A lot. And that's not much sidecut...
