Update #2: I tried this out with the maximum set back for the first time and it made a huge difference. I was able to ride this board nose heavy in deep pow and it was just really hard for this thing to nose dive. The ride outside of the fluffy stuff also felt smoother and damper. So I'll be keeping the bindings set furthest to the back from now on.

Hey Pjstyles, if you want a good comparison with the Hovercraft and Gentemstick, I'd suggest trying the Giant Mantaray. Look forward to your feedback!
