cammelback PA, over winter brake? - Snowboarding Forum

i have never been up to cammelback and me and some buddys were thinking of going up there if its not that busy.

have any of you guys been there and is it that busy during winter brake?

real busy during the regular weekends so i'm assuming it'll be worse weekends during winter break. trails are pretty narrow so your more worried about hitting into someone than actually riding. weekdays would be better.

Camelback isn't that bad - but go after 4pm or so. Cheaper tix and way less people for the night (they close at 10 which is a big plus).

It does get crowded on holiday weekends, so either go during the week or for the night run. I haven't been up there this season yet, but from what I remember last season, it's the usual ice-pow stuff.

i like camelback but i always went at night during the week when i was in college.

ok thanks guys, it looks like im going to be going up January 5th i just hope the weather stays cold.

That's where I usually go. Like everyone said, it gets real busy but most of the people who go are pretty chill. They have a new terrain park too. It's definitely a good idea to do night skiing. Less people, cheaper tickets, the only draw back is that it'll get a little icey.
