Who all goes to Willamette Pass??

WOndering who all goes to willamette pass....this might not get any chatter but i hope someone can give me some advice...

So for those you have experience with the pass, i'd like some tips on dealing with, rather optimizing the weather and snow conditions. Last year i went a few times (starting snowboarding, and this year bought season pass and new gear), and i faced insane ice, insane powder (yes!), and insane crud/crap all on differnet occasions!. I understand that when its sunny and warm the day before then freezing that night it will be very icy, but other than forming ice what are good indicators for snow conditions? Now also, when dealing with not ideal conditions, how can i impove them myself while there? i.e. where to go during different times of day, less traveled areas, that trails to stay away from, what to take advantage of...etc etc.

Basically i am an intermediate boarder that lives several hours from the location and i want maximize all my trips there!

thanks to all!

and it does seem that peak two (the back north side) seems to be much more powdery than the front side.. now when looking at the groom report what are differences in am or pm groomed? just the amount of time that people have had a chance to tear the coudoroy up? haha
