East Coast Weather

So I've been boarding on the Ice Coast for a large part of my time and I've felt like a good chunk of my days there were in the cloudy, overcast days. Now I'm not meteorologist so I'm just assuming but does the East Coast have more cloudy days than anywhere in the US?

ive ridden on probably a 50-50 amount of blue/overcast days and i live in New Hampshire. I know for a fact that it depends on the mountain you're on. for example if youre at Cannon in NH up in this area known as the notch youre going to ride mainly on overcast days, because the clouds hang lower in this area, its a good thing bec the mountain gets frequent flurries refreshing the top layer all the time. Speaking of flurries... Its supposed to snow Tonight, Friday, bluebird on saturday, big dump on sunday, and its looking like a nice dump on tuesday. Hooray for snow!

It's 50 shades of gray on the ice coast. That's why you need clear replacement lenses for your goggles and vodka for your Red Bull.
