Getting around Hakuba?

Hey, i cant seem to find a topic on this on the forum so was just hoping to get some knowledge from some people who have boarded Hakuba before.

Im going to be staying right at the bottom of Happo One at the Gondola and was wondering whats involved in getting to the other resorts (Hakuba 47, Iwatake etc). Is there a free shuttle bus or do you have to pay. Or are we better off cabbing it?

Any information would be awesome.

Went to Happo 1 a few seasons ago, there was a shuttle that picked up from the hotels in the area, I don't remember if it was a couple bucks or not, but that should be your best bet. Some buddies and i went around Christmas weekend and had the whole place to ourselves with awesome snow, enjoy!

there are free shuttle busses. Your accom will have all the details. At least you're sorted for happo though

There are shuttles, here's some links: http://www.happo-one.jp/english/plan...shuttle_en.pdf

I go to Hakuba every month during the season, awesome place. There are also plenty of cabs (with ski racks on top) to get you around should you need one. I also found a lot of the folks out there at the resort speak some English as well. Have fun!
