Fuck california. I have not been out for even ONE DAY this season. It's been like eightyfuckingdegrees where I live?
Yeah, been a rough year so far out there.
but I do havea subaru. Am I going to die?
Die, hopefully not? Most of the drive is valley drive and the snow may or may not be an issue in the valley. Be advised that You may hit some crazy white-out conditions if the weather is amped-up. Otherwise, just take it slow and steady if it is snowing. Know that AWD gets you around, but doesn't guarantee excellent stopping distances or steering response, so keep your distance.
Also, she's a skier (boo) kinda sexy
and mostly goes to alta (double boo) is she cute?
She said she would go with me to the Bird on the weekend but she has to work weekdays. You gotta hook me up with her info when I'm in town
She also does a lot of bc stuff but I have zero interest in doing that with her.
She probably wouldn't drag your butt out in the BC, anyways. If she did, it would be foolish. That being said, If you're up for it, ask her to take you for a baldy hike at Snowbird if it is open/clear.
So on the weekdays when she's working where are the best resorts to hit up?
You'll probably be entertained simply by PC/Canyons if she lives in Park City. Otherwise, go to Solitude or Brighton....both are about a 40 min drive.
Check the weather. Often Sol/Bright are getting a bunch of inches when PC/Canyons are only getting a dusting.
Are there any smaller resorts? i prefer those anyway. Drivable from PC?
Oh any good rec's on places to rent a powder board if it dumps and deals on lift tickets?
Lifthouse is on the way to Snowbird, can get discounts/rentals there. Same with Canyon Sports which has locations in the SLC area.
