Default Sunapee good?

How is it? I'm heading up next weekend to meet up with some car people, it's a 3.5-4 hour drive

is it worth it?

I don't know if it's worth a 4 hour drive but I'm not sure what else is in your range. I'm going there this Sunday, but it's only an hour for me. They did get 14" out of that latest storm though.

The conditions were pretty good. In the early AM the snow was nice and packed all over, but mid afternoon there were some ice spots where everything got tracked out. The trees were totally tracked up, just ended up being straight up bump runs. The lift lines totally sucked. Had to go into the singles line every time with my buddy because doubles was just insane. I don't know if it's really worth the drive and the $66 they charge. Okemo is about 40 miles west, but it could be about the same distance depending on where you're coming from.

I would actually check out Gunstock. I have been to both with in the last few weeks and I liked Gunstock much more. And to be honest its probably the same drive for you. Well from where I am coming from it was the same amount of time to each mtn. I liked Gunstock alot more. You can also get discounted lift tix on liftopia.com

Sunapee is definitely a nice little mountain, and their park set up is always good, but no way it's worth a 4 hour drive. The trails are typical mid-size mountain stuff, you won't find anything really challenging, except for a few 'glade runs' that they have that are basically just signs pointing into the woods.

Gets icy too, since it can get reaaaally windy around there.
