Vermont Mountain Recommendations
I am heading to Vermont tomorrow for some R&R and boarding and wondered if anyone had any mountain recommendations within an hour drive from Grafton? We are currently planning on going to Stratton per what we have heard from a few people. Unfortunately, we were hoping to go Friday but apparently it is going to rain all day so we are forced to move to Saturday. Anyone know how crowded/how well Stratton handles weekends?
We would prefer more than your basic summer camp conditions as far as the lodge goes which we've heard Stratton has, but I would listen to all ideas.
stratton is a great mountain. With it raining on friday i doubt you will have huge crowds. If there are stratton handles it very well. The three areas of the mountain are accessed by different lifts which makes it very easy to avoid a certain area if there are too many people.
Excellent. Thanks so much! We are excited. This is my first big mountain experience.
