Denver Winter Park, CO in April??

Hi

I'm from Germany and I plan a trip to Winter Park Resort, CO in April. What do you guys think will be the snow conditions in mid-April? I've never been in the Rocky Mountains during that time.

Thx!

Last day of Operation is April 20th. Hard to say with April. Usually it's warm spring conditions, but the last few years we have had a lot of snow in April. Slush or pow seems to be the word these days. Hopefully it just isn't that unhappy medium between the two. Frozen crust. The only days I don't like being out are in those conditions.

ok, thanks! I just give it a shot, I'll be there anyway...or is there another area around Denver where the conditions might be better at that time?

If it's frozen crust, it's everywhere. No escaping that one.

Loveland and A-Basin are great warm weather areas too. If it's powder, well you really can't go wrong anywhere...
