Default Need help w/ West Virginia resorts

I Live in Lexington, KY and I am taking my girlfriend on a boarding trip to WV. I've been to Snowshoe and winterplace before so I know what they are all about. I Plan on going to snowshoe on day one, then either Cannan Valley or Timberline on day two then on the way back to Kentucky stoping at Winterplace on the third day.

I'm definately going to winterplace adn snowshoe since snowshoe is the best and winter place is on the way. So is it worth the money and the time to go to cannan valley or timberline? Also, which one do you prefer?

I've been to Timberline a bunch and it is pretty decent. I have always enjoyed myself there. Also, if either you or your gf are beginners, they have a green slope that is hella long. I used to spend a lot of time on it when I was learning.

Their blues are pretty good too, I would recommend it. I've never been to canaan before though

Timberline's mountain is definitely higher quality slopes than winterplace, almost as good as snowshoe, if that gives you a better idea

She's a beginner of sorts, she went to big sky montana w/ some buddies and I this winter and she got fairly decent but we'll be sticking to mainly blue and greens. I may ride a couple blacks but I dont think shes gonna like riding by herself for all that long. Thanks for the input, I didnt think this thread had a chance in hell of getting replied to. Also, do you know how far a drive it is from Snowshoe to Timberline?

Stay at Snowshoe. It's much better than Timberline or Canaan. Timberline is fun, but way smaller than Snowshoe and not nearly as good a mountain. Canaan sucks, I would not go there at all. Timberline is much better than Canaan. If you do go to Timberline check out Davis, WV for dinner after riding. There is a pizza place on the main strip thru Davis(can't remember the name of the place) that is incredible.
