Default It's going off at Sutton! Jay Peak on Saturday.

We've been at Sutton, Quebec since Wednedsay. It was good, but today was awesome. Light morning rain turned to heavy snow all day and untracked powder everywhere. Most runs all alone in perfect powder. I even did lots of trees and bumps, super nice. Almost 9:00 pm now, STILL snowing hard, supposed to go all night into tomorrow. Then we hit Jay Peak on Saturday, with a more fresh in the forecast. Who says Spring riding has to be in slush? We made back-up plans in case the weather sucked, instead it's turning into one of the best trips of the season. Sutton rocks.

Some of the best powder I've ridden in many years. Chair V was closed for maintenance, so it took a very short hike to hit trails and trees underneath -- perfect, because most people didn't bother. Started off in light, fluffy almost knee-deep powder at the top, and there was incredible untracked snow all the way down. The glades were nothing short of epic. It snowed hard again all day, and stopped right around last chair, when the sun came out. I swear, half off Quebec called in sick today. We were told Fridays are pretty quiet at Sutton, but today it was busy (although still never had to wait in a lift line, and even got runs in all by myself). Truly the best conditions I've seen on the East Coast in ages.
