Hey guys. My friends and I are planning to go next winter season. We'll probably have to rent a house/townhouse/cabin of some sort (probably going to be about 10 of us). Trying to decide... Tahoe or somewhere in Colorado? If so, which places do you recommended, considering lodging and decent nightlife.
I was thinking Heavenly Tahoe, but I see that some people absolutely despises this place, so I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks guys. |

LOL. No, not serious planning yet. No booking or anything. Just the decision to go and who all wants to go. I guess I just wanted to know pricing wise, how things are. I've never rented townhouse for snowboarding before. Guess I just wanted to know approximately how much this trip would cost us.

The Hev does suck. Or at least the CA side does. Nevada isn't so bad, but tickets were $92 this year.
Northstar/Sugar Bowl/Boreal is in the Truckee area and lodging is cheapers there or in Kings Beach. CA snow can come in dumps, but usually around this time is prime time for snow. I'd suggest Utah as well. Really cheap, great places near SLC and Pow Mow up in Ogden.
