fun Off road vacation in Us

Hey guys,
My family and i are looking to go on a vacation in a couple weeks (a little spontaneous). We want a place where we can ATV, mountain bike, hike, maybe rock climb. Adventure stuff like that. I have looked at Sedona, AZ and Moab, UT. The only problem is flights. They are both $1000 a person. Does anyone know of other places like that with wide open rocky terrain to off road and mountain bike? Please let me know. Trying to get this booked VERY soon.
Thanks,
Tom

Tons of spots out there. Understand that for Moab you're getting into the "hotter than two rats fucking in a heated wool sock" season. I'd look elsewhere at this point.

Bend, OR
Sits on the cusp of high desert and cascade glory with the deschutes river splitting the two.

Tahoe is also nice. Accessible through the Reno/Tahoe airport. Great hiking, riding, and other outdoor activities. It is moderately warm, so none of that rats fucking in socks stuff.

Moab is sweet. From a dirt bikers standpoint, I have never seen such a large variety of different terrain in the same general area. Rocky Mountain style, huge sand dunes and slick rock all accessible within an hour or so. Honestly can't comment on the other spots, but we did moab in summer two years ago and it was an unreal trip.
I've also been riding in Montana, but terrain was naturally more similar to what I'm used to up in Canadia
