Question Gear prices in Austria?

Hey everyone,

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong category.
Anyway I was looking at planning a trip to board in Austria and was wondering how much gear tends to cost there?

Lift prices and accommodation is reasonable but seeing as I don't own my own gear yet (I'm new to this sport), I was wondering if it wouldn't be cheaper to buy gear there?

If I was looking for a decent beginner-intermediate Burton board and bindings (recommendations welcome!), any idea what I may be paying, how much is it in relation to US prices?

I'd also buy boots and a helmet there but I've got everything else

Thanks!

Generally gear in the US is way cheaper than Europe. If your planning on buying gear in resort they'll pull your pants down and shaft you.

Is that extra or included in the pricing?

do not buy boots in austria unless you find some fucked off unheard of deal, and you won"t find any deals like that there. Buy your boots at home.
