Damn, it's staying open til the 14th of June. What is the snow like this time of year? I might have to make the 5hr drive

It is?? And you're not willing to drive 5 hours to get there? I'm seriously considering making the 12 hour drive for some snow...

Snowbird is killer. Keep in mind they are only open fri, sat, sun. at this point. I think they are open on Memorial day also. I was there end of April and we got lucky with powder while there. I don't think it's snowed since, but they have/had a ton of snow. They are still riding from top to bottom now. I'd imagine the only lifts that would be open are the Tram, Mineral Basin chair, and maybe 1 other. Well worth it if you are looking to ride. One more thing, check craigslist for cheap lift tickets. I got 5 days of riding for $140 by buying some dudes pass that had 5 days left on it off craigslist.

I may go on the last weekend. Only the tram and little cloud will be open. Do you know which areas on the trail map will be open?

how is snowbird in the winter time? i saw youtube vids of it and the trails look pretty gnarly. is the location pretty expensive for someone who is lookin to fly there for a couple of days? i really want to get out of east coast riding next winter and look fwd to utah definately
