planning a Utah-Idaho-Wyoming road trip

Hi everyone I am looking for several bits of info. Was hoping those in the know can help.
I am from Australia and a couple of buddies and I are planning on a 2-3 week strike on the hills in the utah/idaho and Wyoming area.

Basic plan is fly in to SLC Utah, then road trip to Northern Utah resorts Snow basin/Powder mountain,(hopefully a days cat boarding too), then Pebble Creek for a day. then off to J/Hole for about a week or so and will be there over Presidents weekend. The final assault will be down to Park City area? for a few more resorts before exiting via SLC airport.

Looking for recommendations on accomm similar to the "the Hostel" in J/Hole. Just want cheap Bunk style for 4-5 mates tops. Trying to stretch the budget for maximum days on the hills.

My initial research points towards staying in Ogden Utah, then Lava hot Springs, Idaho for the pebble creek assault. "The Hostel" in Jackson Hole; And some where in Park City Utah for the final look at what Utah has to offer.

We are all intermediate to Advanced, prefer to free ride deep and Steep. Only spending limited time in the Park.

Cheers in advance everyone, Poto

Ogden is cool, but you'd be better off staying somewhere like Midvale, Sandy, Cottonwood Heights for SLC. They're right at the base of the Wasatch and offer like a 20 minute drive to the resorts. Any reason you'd stay in Ogden?

Never been to Snow Basin, it's too far out of the way considering what we have in proximity here in SLC. I live downtown so I can hit like 7 resorts in 20 / 30 minutes.

Thanks everyone
Ogden was for hitting snowbasin and powder mountain. Also keen on a good cat operator out of that area. I want to hit that for a day if the budget fits in.

As its a road trip we wanna go to as many cool and outta the way places as we can fing in those states. We will be hitting Jackson for a week though in the middle of Feb for some good lines and apres ski too
