How to book snowboarding trip?

Sorry if this doesn't fit 100% in the forum category, but I thought this was the best fit.

I'll be taking a trip to Colorado in late February with 3 of my buddies. We're probably going to stay at Keystone or Breckenridge and take advantage of the 4 day pass and spend one day at each of the four resorts (Beaver Creek, Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge).

I'm wondering if anybody has any tips on how to book the trip. Is it best to book everything separately? Use a 3rd party like ski.com? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

heres wat i gathered so far...

i find it always cheaper to book lodging with lift tickets together...
i just made reservation for my trip to vail this thanks giving...came down to 250 per person for 3 day lift ticket and 3 nights lodging for group of 4.
car rental is another 180 for 4 days....

i made the reservation thru vail central reservation thingy...they usually started giving u options that are more lavish...so remember to ask for cheaper options.
