Good Resorts? - Snowboarding Forum

I just started boarding last year and only experienced Cataloochee Ski area. I'm in eastern Tennessee and I'm trying to find resorts within 3 or 4 hours that have decent rates and boarding. Thanks

Snowshoe will be the around. I doubt it's within 4 hours though depending on where you are in east TN. If you're from way up in the northeast corner around Bristol or so, you may be able to get there in 4 hours.

Check out Sugar in Banner Elk as well. It won't be as good as Snowshoe, but better than Cataloochee.

What part of East TN are you in? I make trips all over and currently live in Chattanooga

Pending how my job situation we could car pool or something because Banner Elk where Sugar Beech and App are is like little over five hours or something.
