Cheap place in Vermont - - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys, me and a few of my buddies are planning to go up to Vermont this winter break (around dec.24-jan 3rd?)
since we all don't have a job, we are looking for cheap rates on rooms. we are planning to stay for a week.
can one of you vermont locals recommend us a good place to stay?

i stay at the best western in rutland. the rooms for a double are like $130-160 a night, but breakfast is included (make your own waffles!), its 5 minutes from the mountain/town and has pool and stuff in the lodge

there's another vermont thread down the list that'll help you. check out grandpa grunts at jay peak. its about 30 per night per person with breakfast free on the weekends. its bunk dormitory style.

The Red Roof Inn in Killington is like $50 a night but you can get walk-in coupons for weekdays and Sundays on Hotel Rooms & Free Discount Hotel Coupons - RoomSaver.com. The Eono-lodge is even cheaper.

Grampa Grunts is the best and cheepest place to stay. I live an hour from Jay Peak and Ive stayed there before.
