Utah in mid December??

What could I expect the snow to be like at snowboard areas near SLC(Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird ect) in mid December? Call it Dec 13 to Dec 16/17 ish. I have some days off to burn before the end of the year and southwest has a good deal on fares right now. Thanks.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe Ill just forget flying and drive it then, if it looks good, which was the original plan till I saw the flight deals. Thanks for the tip.

weather will be hit or miss but currently we have been gettin a really good pre season base .. so as far as terrain at least brighton should have alot open by then ... the bird being a bit steeper normally needs more snow
