Default Telluride: will there be snow by opening??

I'm a little worried; I have plans to travel there at that time.

If anyone can shed some positive light, please do.

Thanks

I don't know when T Ride is planning to open, but they have gotten snow. Usually on opening days a resort only has two or three runs open. I also don't know how much of a snow making system they have there or if they even do have a snow making system.

They have good looking snow at the upper parts of the mountain right now. The base area looks decent on the webcams Depending how my elk hunt goes next week, I might go up for the ski swap and I will see it in person on the 14th. They have lots of snowmaking equipment and spent a ton of money last season on snowmaking improvments. They have more snow right now than this time last year and last year we had a great early season. I am a little worried too with these warmer temps, but hopefully it will start cooling off again soon. A couple storms would be nice too! Telluride Snow, Ski Report and Forecast Telluride, Colorado looks like some snow for the beginning and end of next week! The San Juans have been getting good amounts of snow with each storm so far this season! Hope it keeps up! Oh yeah, opening day is Thanksgiving.

I guess we are just a little impatient; we were rained out of Tremblant a few times last season and Whistler was sweltering the last time we tried.

Winter means snow, so that's what we are hoping to find in the mountains of Colorado.

;-)
