resorts in utah this weekend? worth it?

So i just got word that i'll be heading to salt lake on business this weekend and I'm pretty sure I can get away for a day to do some boarding. I'm a little bummed though as I see that only a couple of resorts are gonna be open, and i'm thinking they're going to have a minimal amount of runs and snow. There is a storm coming in however on thursday and friday however, but i don't know utah (or much about the storm)well enough to know if it'll be rocking after a couple of days. Has anyone been up to solitude recently, or is going to brighton on wednesday? Lemme know how it is out there..

Even with the storm you are still going to have limited terrain open. It is early season after all...

solitude has two lifts open servicing about 6-8 green runs only .... brighton has one lift open servicing about 3 trails but in area is about equal to solitudes 6-8 trails.... solitude is 40 bucks and no one will be there now that brighton is open ... brighton is 30 bucks and will be packed which for utah means 10 15 minute lines ... brighton has about a dozen small jibs at the bottom as well..... the storm probably wont open any new terrain as they are expected to be small... you can also hike the jibs at brighton for free if you want

I'm heading out there exactly a month from now.... 12/9-12. I'm hoping they get dumped on a few times between now and then so there is some decent terrain open.
