Baker

I rode here once like 10 years ago and loved every minute of it. Planning to do a trip this year and just wondering where is the best area to ride. Where to park ect.

we already have a baker thread

best place to park is the upper lodge but it's closed on weekdays/non-holidays

that side of the mountain also has less people

chairs 4,5,6,7,8 get the most traffic
chair 1 is a deathtrap if you don't know where you're going
chair 4 can deliver when everything else doesn't
if you cross a boundary rope or go through a backcountry gate and someone yells at you it's because they don't want to be the one to find your body during the summer thaw

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

Thanks for the info. My GF and I got busted ducking ropes, got our passes clipped and had to do an avalanche awareness test to get it back. I'm used to Big White where ducking a rope means nothing but powder and good terrain, at Baker ropes stop you from 300' death drops.
