I'm in Banff and the resorts open early November and close mid to late may.

I'm in Colorado and this year, our earliest resort opening I believe was October 5th, and is quite possibly ending in late May/ early June.

So if you figure October to May, that's eight months roughly.

Take yourself to higher places.
