12/13 blue mountain pa.

i sure hate on blue alot, but my home mountain is not open and blue was having 50 percent off specials. i was able to ride in the morning for 20 bucks. awesome!

well, no. not even close. blue advertised that their terrain park on the "come around" trail would be open. it was not. not even close. also, the green trail next to the lodge was the only thing ride-able. a trail called main street was the other trail open. there were so many death cookies and chunks of ice, it felt like i was riding on baseballs. not an exageration. the entire trail was ice chunks, almost as if they didnt groom(but they did).

so, i know some people on this forum like blue, but i feel that they should not have opened with those conditions. its dangerous, and lazy.

blue, i gave you one more change, but each year your snow gets worse and worse. i know it was only opening day, but big boulders snow was PERFECT on their opening day, and did not lie about trails being open that werent. camelbacks snow was perfect as well.

blue, please get your shit together. fix your lifts so i dont get grease dripped all over my clothes thank you. oh and learn how to groom.

Never been there and I hear alot of horror stories. I was at Camelback yesterday and it was good, also some ice and cookies but very ridable. The only flaw was that around 1pm it got very crowded, so I just went home. But all in all not bad.
