Well me and my dad where planning a snowboard/ski trip and i tried to look up hills for the upper peninsula and i was overwhelmed by all the choices.
i do know what to look for in mountains like verticle rise, trails, lifts ect.

Don't really know a whole lot about the UP. Mt Bohemia and Boyne seem to be the two Michigan resorts with the best rep. I take it you live in the area. Otherwise, I'd recommend going to Vermont, or hopping a plane to Colorado or Utah...

There are some good spots along the border of the UP in WI too. Depending where you're coming from it might also be closer.

They also got a lot of good snow recently.

In WI- I'd look at Whitecap MT. Its big, semi-isolated, and gets good snow.

If going deep into the UPer, Marquette Mountain is big and has some fun terrain.

Enjoy the best powder in the Midwest!

yeah i live in Minnesota and me and my dad where planning to go to a REAL hill.

just something random but the hill i snowboard at isn't longer than a football field but it has a tow rope and its littered with rails which i find quite fun. the biggest jump there was a table top. about a 10 feet distance to get to the other side

I'm in Minneapolis- its about a 4 hour drive for me-that whitecap isn't closer than the MI hills right on the border, but its my favorite for riding within that 4-hour ring. Not as big of a vertical drop as Lutsen, but much better snow- so I will pick the UP or Whitecap over Lutsen anyday.
