Honeymoon with Haliboarding

I'm new here and I could really need some help.
We are planning our Honeymoon at the moment, and we wnat to fullfill our biggest desire...Heliboarding and Champaign Powder. Because we are from Germany we have spent a lot of holidays in the Alps and know where to go there, but we have no clue about good resorts in the United States. We were thinking about Park City, but I have read here that a lot of you don't like it because it is crowded and expensive.

We are searching for a boarder-friendly resort with great powder, many possibilities to do some backcountry, and of course we want to do a brilliant heliride. We don't need a lot of jumps and kickers or a halfpipe.
In our three weeks in USA we will start with a stopover in NY, then go to the Westcoast and travel around. So we are searching for a resort in that region.

Could you give us US-boarding-greenhorns some tips, please?

And...please excuse my english...

Thanks a lot! Zimtstern

Is Canada an option? What time of the year are you coming out? There is some awesome heli boarding in BC if you were to change your mind on going only to the US.

Or from what I hear this one is pretty good as well if you want something in the US.

when are you planning your trip? If it is in the spring then I highly recommend going to alaska for your heli-trip; It is the gold standard of heli boarding (but thanks to high latitude, it is too dark for the majority of the winter.)

You could certainly get your money's worth at silverton also look into Telluride helitrax. Problem being that they are difficult to travel to (though Telluride has an airport, just expensive)

If you choose Utah, I would avoid park city, as its name suggests it is only good for park riding whereas snowbird and brighton offer better rounded riding experiences plus I'm pretty sure the Heli takes off from snowbird/alta.
