My friend and I are planning a Niseko trip from February 2-8, 2017. There are so many places available to stay at, and we really can't narrow it down. Are the dorm-style places ok to stay at? We would prefer a private room but we're open to the dorm-style, would probably be cool to meet and interact with other people in that kind of setting.
What resorts would be the best one to hit up? We'll have 4 days to board, so should be hit up all 4 Niseko resorts or stick to one or two?
Anyone else planning a trip there around that time? Let's meet up!
All of the hostels (dorm style) are good to stay at. If you can find a way to get in with Hirafu Backpackers or Ramat Niseko I recommend those two, as they have been what I used for the past eight years.
If you are concerned about someone taking your gear you shouldnt be overly worried, it's Japan. It's one of the safest places with the lowest crime rates in the world. But I would still bring a combination lock anyways. As not everyone there is Japanese.
If you and your friend decided to push your dates forward a Month I would be there as well. Bad timing for us it would seem haha.
Forgot to mention this, all of the resorts share the mountain, so if you get a ticket it covers every trail on the mountain.
Incorrect, only all-mountain and point passes cover all 4 skijos. With the other tickets you are restricted to Hirafu/Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri respectively.
Hey yo. I'm in Niseko during that time. Try Niseko Kanon. Lodge (pension) and backpacker. Im
There for just under 4 weeks. Great location, 5min walk to base of Hirafu gondola, good host, just no cooking facilities. Clean, tidy and warm
