Winterpark is the fourth largest resort in the state. Not a ton above treeline (alpine) there. Paresene's bowl is the easily accessed alpine terrain, and Vasquez Cirque is the hike too area. Tons and tons of tree riding and arguably the best in the state at Winterpark though. Especially on the Mary Jane side. The snows as of late have been favoring that resort, so you could be in for some pretty good riding. The Denver ski areas have all be on the short side as of late, but are now catching up.

It doesn't have the crowds of Breck and Keystone
It isn't as big as Vail It's very affordable and short drive from Denver. I work there. We could still use more snow but things are nice. The nightlife is improving. Ullr's, Freestyles, The Pub + a few secret locations
